Administrative Services supports the School's mission by:
- developing its programs
and policies to recognize the diversity of a dynamic community;
- optimizing training, skills and distribution of workforce to obtain maximum efficiencies;
- providing stewardship of the School's financial resources; enhancing organizational effectives
- providing a safe and secure environment in which to attend school and work; and ensuring quality recruitment, retention, training and development of its employees.
Human Resources, Budgeting, Accounting, Transaction Processing, and Decision Support fall under the Administrative Service Center umbrella and Facilities Management and the Johnson School Community being the direct responsibility of Administrative Services.

Administrative Service Center
The Administrative Service Center is responsible for processing transactions - both financial and human resources - throughout the School. The professional staff members making up this group use the tools provided by the University on a regular basis. They are dedicated to the faculty and the respective units throughout the college and are cross-trained. A list of the functions or services provided includes:

Human resources is identified with the field of personnel recruitment, management and payroll. The Center oversees personnel issues, policies and procedures applicable to faculty, staff and students. It is the home of the official files of the Johnson School's academic, nonacademic and student employees and the link to employment opportunities, compensation, records administration and payroll. The Center works in partnership with the various departments throughout the School coordinating human resources policies, procedures and practices. Its objective is in its delivery of customer-focused, fully integrated, efficient human resource services and programs to individuals and to the School.

All financial and human resources functions, including accounting, budgeting, and purchasing transactions were centralized for the purpose of providing customers with best practice transactional support and efficient quality service. If you need assistance in maneuvering through the University's financial environment, developing a budget, purchasing equipment, processing vouchers or reimbursements, interpreting an accounting statement, hiring a new employee, or in the day-to-day business operations, the Center is available to assist you.
