Grading

Information on grading and grade-point averages can be found in the Faculty By-Laws (Chapter Five, Section VI).

In compliance with the University's policy on student educational records and the U.S. Department of Education's Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), restricted student information may not be posted. Accordingly, the following student information is considered restricted and therefore may not be posted:

• Student Social Security Number
• Student Identification Number
• Course Elected
• Grades Earned
• Grade Point Average
• Class Rank
• Date of Birth
• Place of Birth
• Home Telephone Listing
• Academic and Disciplinary Actions
• Student or Administrative Committee
• The Most Recent Student Educational Records from Previous Educational Agency or Institution
• Financial Arrangements between the Student and the University
• Any Other Education Record Containing Personally Indefinable Information
