Operation Identification Policy

Each year, personal-and University-owned property, valued in excess of $300,000 is reported stolen. Public Safety recovers approximately 10% of the stolen property. The process of marking valuable property with a traceable Operation Identification (ID) Number has helped deter the theft of University-owned property and assists Public Safety in its recovery. Portable property over $5,000 in value must be branded or engraved with the University-issued Operation ID Number. The Johnson School's Operation ID Number is:
