The formula for the full-time annual equivalent rate for a nonexempt (OPE) 39 hour/week, 52 week employee is:

$Hourly Rate x 39 x 52 OR $Hourly Rate x 2028 Hours per Year = Annual Salary

The formula for annualizing hourly pay for an academic or exempt (OPI) employee is:

Annual Salary/24 (# of Pay Periods) = Biweekly Rate/78 (# of Hours/Pay Period) = $Hourly Rate
