VendaCards

VendaCards allow authorized Faculty, Staff and Students to copy articles, etc. in University Libraries. Similar to a credit card, each card works with an interface on all the copiers located within the Cornell University Library System and is encoded with a specific dollar amount. Every time the card is used, the cost of the transaction is automatically subtracted from the balance.

A Procurement Card can be used to secure a VendaCard that can be used in any of the Endowed Libraries. Go directly to 279 Clark Hall in the Physical Sciences Library, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. When requesting the Endowed VendaCard, you should carefully consider the dollar amount you choose to place on the card. If the card is lost or misplaced, there is no way to recover the funds. It is suggested that the amounts range from $20.00 to $50.00, unless there is a specific reason why a larger sum is necessary.
