Fire Marshalls

There are several individuals serving as Sage Hall Fire Marshalls. Their responsibility, if there is a fire, includes checking the areas for which they are assigned to ensure that offices, classrooms, etc. have been vacated; lights are left on; doors closed; and windows closed (if time permits). Fire Marshalls are rotated periodically and if asked to serve, you are encouraged to do so. There is a regularly scheduled fire drill each semester, including one in the Summer during the Executive Education Program. Drills are mandatory and are coordinated with the Office of Environmental Health and Safety and the Administrative Service Center.
