Cornell University

I studied English at Tufts University, and was frequently asked just what I intended to do with the degree. After graduating, my love for writing led me to become a marketing writer and launch a full service marketing collateral firm. As the business grew, I chose to work with clients in the food and wellness industries, which eventually led to an in-house marketing role with Whole Foods Market. Witnessing the drive for corporate environmental stewardship and social responsibility inspired me to go to business school. The Johnson School, with its Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise and access to Cornell's agriculture and nutrition schools, was my ideal choice. At Johnson, I focus my studies on finance and investing, and plan to work in social entrepreneurship and/or social investing. I love yoga, food, writing, and spending time outdoors.
