Companies Pursuing Cornell JS Students
Some bright news among the dour headlines broadcasting layoffs across the country. The American Expresss lead MBA recruiter called me on Friday to emphasize that despite the 10 per cent staff cut, the company will continue to hire new talent from the Johnson School to ensure their leadership pipeline for the future. All full-time offers to their interns are also being honored. We continue to positive news from our recruiters. I'm not trying to sugar coat the tough job market. Just reporting on the facts to keep you current with what we are hearing from employers. Do I think it will get worse as the year progresses? Yes. Do I think you are in a great position? Yes. You have developed a set of skills and will have an advanced degree from one of the best institutions in the United States. Employers go to great lengths to hire Johnson School students and alumni.
