| Many articles have been written arguing that supply-chain management is and will continue to be very different because of the opportunities offered by web-based information systems. Many speakers say that "everything is different" than two or three years ago. We agree wholeheartedly with the first statement, and disagree with the second. There are many eternal verities in managing supply chains, and the battlefield is littered with corporations who forgot or ignored them. | |
