Partnership
Cornell University has a long-standing
tradition of business management leadership and dedication
to community service. The Johnson School has created a common
platform for the Tompkins County non-profit community to solicit
the assistance of graduate business students at the Johnson
School and obtain assistance on relevant valued business issues.
Johnson Consulting Group offers a mechanism to bring MBA students
into the Tompkins County community - MBA students can now
lend their expertise and apply their business / management
training in real-time by tackling the real-life problems and
timely business issues facing non-profits.
Johnson School MBA Students
Each year, one or two students chair the Community Consulting
Group. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities
in the community and searching the Johnson School Community
to find the skill set and personal fit that most closely matches
the needs of the client.
