Ramin Mojdeh

VP and General Manager, Becton Dickinson

Dr. Ramin Mojdeh has extensive experience in technology-based industries, most of which is focused on therapeutic and diagnostic medical devices. In his career Dr. Mojdeh has held leadership positions in increasing levels of responsibility in multiple areas including research and development, business development, general management, and strategic marketing.

In his current role as the Vice President and General Manager of BD Medical, Pharmaceutical Systems, Dr. Mojdeh is responsible for leading BD’s Pharmaceutical Systems business, a world leader in therapeutic and diagnostic drug delivery. Prior to his current role Dr. Mojdeh held the position of Vice President of Research and Development for BD Medical, responsible for technology and product innovation across 4 business areas, Medical Surgical Systems, Diabetes Care Systems, Pharmaceutical Systems, and Ophthalmic Systems, with a combined annual revenue of over $4 Billion . Additionally, Dr. Mojdeh is a board member of BD Ventures LLC, the venture capital arm of Becton Dickinson, and a member of Becton Dickinson’s Technology Management Board.

Dr. Mojdeh received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis Minnesota. He received his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
