The Student Council (SC) is the Johnson School's Student Government. SC proactively works to improve the Johnson School by providing direction and implementing change. The committee consists of 14 elected students. The SC seeks input from students, faculty and staff on both strategic and tactical issues facing the school, though our focus is on strategic issues. The strategic areas range from alumni development to branding of the school to long term planning. The tactical areas range from curriculum requirements to food service to social events. The SC meets every Wednesday at 7:30 AM in Room 134 in Sage Hall. Dean Swieringa, Dean Thomas, Dean Dove, Dean Shafer and other key faculty and staff members regularly attend our meetings.

All members of the Johnson School community are encouraged to attend our weekly meetings and/or contact the SC with ideas and suggestions for improvements. If you would like to give us feedback, or discuss an issue that concerns you or a group of students, please get in touch with any one of us. We can then add your topic to the agenda of the next meeting. Please browse the MEETINGS area for upcoming topics as well the minutes of past meetings.
